It is the Mission of the Long Island Sound Sharks PAL Youth Football League to educate each child on the proper fundamental skills that are necessary to play the game of football. It is our goal to have these children transfer these skills learned through the PAL program to the seconday level of junior & senior high school. Our coaches will serve as positive roal models for all our athletes. They will recognize that the purpose of athletics is to promote the physical, mental, moral, socail and emotional well-being of the individual players. They have the power to teach not just football but the intangibles; leadership, self confidence, character and sportsmanship. All of our parents, coaches and players will abide by the Long Island Sound Shakrs PAL Code of Ethice. Most important lets remember that an athletci contest at this level is only a game - it should be fun for the child and not a matter of life or death for player, coach or parent. Sharks Cheerleading Mission: To provide a community of support for youth recreational cheerleading in Miller, Place, Rocky Point, Sound Beach, Shoreham - Wading River. We strive to provide a welcoming environment and an opportunity to cheer with the optimum conditions of healthy and safety. Fair play and good sportsmanship shall be our goal at all times.
